It was BEA-U-TI-FUL outside today, and I had so much fun soaking up the sun!  I do miss eating me some snow, but I’m so happy to have all these warm days.  I hate being a cold doggy, and I feel bad for all the homeless doggies and kitties when the really cold weather hits.  I’m afraid they’ll all freeze to death because they don’t have a warm house like mine.  When it’s really cold I curl up in front of the wood stove, but Mommy didn’t have to build a fire today.

Mommy, Lil Sister, and I spent most of the day outside so lil sister could play in the sun.  She’s got a skin disease right now that the sun helps, and even though it’s only February it was warm enough for her to run around without a shirt on for 30 minutes like the doctor said to do.

Alley, well he doesn’t get outside much.  He always tries to run away and chase the girl cats or get in a fight with the boy cat across the street.  Mommy is afraid he’ll get ran over by a big car, so she left him inside playing Cat Fishing. Now he’s wanting his own Atrix 4G so he can play his games on the way to the vet’s office. Silly cat. Mom would never buy him a phone. He’d gack all over it and ruin it!

I was just talking to my kitteh friend, Fuppa, and it made me want to go spend the weekend at Aunt Sam and Uncle Joe’s house.  Fuppa says they have so much fun over there.  Uncle Joe is a DJ, so they get to listen to cool music all the time.  They don’t have to turn it off when lil sister goes to sleep.  I bet it’s so much fun chillin’ with Uncle Joe while he’s spinning some beats.

Last time he visited he was telling Dad he wants to pick up a Monophonic Desktop Analog Synthesizer so he can add some new sound to his mixes. He says he’ll probably go with a dave smith because they’re pretty affordable and offer some great functions. Maybe one day Mom will take me over there while he’s putting together a new set so I can play with Fuppa and listen to some cool music.

Why is it when I want to use something Bubba has to hog it?  I wanted to sleep on the couch last night, but no, Bubba had to stretch out as far as he could across the whole darn thing.  This morning I wanted to curl up in front of the wood stove, but Bubba shoved me out of the way so he could suck all the heat up.

Now I want to watch TV, but I can’t because Bubba and Dad are hogging the good TV.  Dad says he’s cleaning off the DVR, so they’re watching some doggy show called Pitbulls and Parolees.  Occasionally I’ll see a cat on there, but it’s mostly about all those doggies, so I don’t really watch it.  Mom, Dad, and Bubba all love that show, though.  I do like the one nice lady who has Housing for seniors that nobody wants to adopt. She’s a really sweet lady to do that, and we need more people like her in this world.  Mom would probably adopt every single doggy she sees on there if she could.  She hates seeing all those poor doggies that have been treated badly and don’t have forever homes.

Lil Sister is watching Finding Nemo on the other TV, so I ended up curling up on the couch with her and watching the fishies for a bit.  Maybe I’ll go do that again.  It’s not as great as the birds I wanted to watch, but at least it’s something half way decent.

Mommy was right.  I’m not going to die.  I know because the vet said so.  I scratched my ear, but it’s not infected or anything.  I didn’t even get any antibiotics this time.  Mommy did give me some treats when I got home for being such a good boy at the vet’s office.

I don’t get doggy treats too often because Mommy has to be careful what she feeds me because of my skin problems.  Sometimes I’ll get free treats in the mail because Mommy orders free samples of the all natural ones when she finds them.  If you want free treats and stuff you should check out Mommy’s freebie and samples blog.  She posts stuff like red envelope coupons, discount codes, and free product samples she’s finds on the internetz. Sometimes she finds some really cool free stuff or helps you save lots of money!  My Mommy is cool like that.

I don’t feel too good.  Mommy says she made me an appointment to see the vet on Thursday because that’s the soonest she could get me in.  I hope I don’t get even more sick by then.  My ear was bleeding this morning.  Mommy says I just nicked it with my nail when I scratched it, but she wants it checked out to make sure I don’t have an infection.

Me…I think I’m dying. I think I’m bleeding from my brain, and I’m going to leave this world way too soon. Now that I think about it I think I see blurry spots in my eyes, and I’m hearing strange noises. I hope I’m not turning into one of those hypochondriacs!

Maybe the vet will make it all better. He’ll probably stick the welch allyn otoscope in my ear, and then he’ll send me home with a prescription for antibiotics. I like it when I get antibiotics because I get extra treats to help me take them!  If it’s something worse and I die I’m sure you’ll hear about it.  We know Alley can’t keep his mouth shut when he has juicy gossip about me!
