You know what I love more than Christmas presents? After Christmas sales! Mommy went shopping last night, and she got me another present because it was so cheap, and I absolutely love it! She got me a 4″ memory foam doggy bed with a microfoam cover. I admit it’s not as warm as the heated mattress pad on Mommy and Daddy’s bed, but it’ll definitely do!

I’m thinking about snuggling up on it for a nice warm afternoon nap right now. Maybe Mommy will let me drag it a little closer to the wood stove for extra warmth. Then again maybe that isn’t such a good idea. I don’t want to burn my new bed and the house down in the process! I’ll just get Mommy to cover me up with my doggy blanket instead.

Did you have a good Christmas?  I sure did!  I got 2 new toys and a new collar and leash from Mommy and Daddy.  I also had a lot of fun this morning helping lil sister unwrap her presents.  She let me help her tear a few open, and it was lots and lots of fun!

Then we went to Nana’s house and I got to run around in the back yard for awhile with Aunt Brittany’s pitbull, Rebel.  We had so much fun, but boy am I glad Nana got a new pool fence this summer because Rebel would’ve tried to push me in, and that would have been cold. Well, it wouldn’t have been too cold since the weather has been pretty warm here, but today was a bit chilly. Anywho, I have new toys to go play with, so it’s time for me to head out!

Christmas is just around the corner, and I haven’t asked Santa for anything yet!  Can you believe it?  I think it’s because every time I decide on something I want I change my mind.  Alley says I shouldn’t bother because all I’m going to get is a stocking full of coal anyway, but to that I say he can shove it.  If anyone’s going to get a stocking of coal it’s going to be him.  He’s been a very bad kitteh lately.

So, what do you think I should ask Santa for?  I have a great family, a great home, and I’m happy.  What more could I want?

I know I haven’t been around lately, but that’s because I’ve been so busy having so much fun.  Then I get so tired from playing so hard I have to crash.  I’m not a young kitteh anymore ya know.  Anywho, you may ask what is so much fun.  Well, lil sister got a ball pit for her birthday, and it is A-W-E-S-O-M-E!!  There are like over 100 balls in there for me to play with!  It’s a kitteh paradise.

In the “old days” before lil sister the only things I really had to play with were my boring cat toys and the few sd memory cards that might get lost behind Mom’s desk (of course I usually got in trouble for batting those around). I did have a love of bottle caps, but my hoomans hardly ever drink bottled drinks. The balls, those are always in the floor to play with, though!  Lil sister has as much fun throwing them out of the ball pit as I have knocking them around, so we’ve been having ourselves a good ‘ole time!

Way to go Mommy. You just scared the heck out of me! I was minding my own business walking through the living room when I looked up and saw a big black cat sitting by the front door. I freaked out because a. I thought Mommy had brought another cat into the house to torture me with, and b. it was HUGE…like almost as big as me!

Turns out I was scared over nothing. It was just one of those big Halloween outdoor signs Mommy put in the front yard, and she put it by the door so Daddy will put it in the attic with the rest of the decorations. Still, I admit it scared me! I definitely don’t want anymore kittehs living here, and if we do get another kitteh it better not be that big!
