I know I’ve been slack, and I never got a chance to tell you Alley is okay.  Well I mean his foot is fine, and he just had a hang nail.  I’m not sure he’ll ever really be “okay” ya know?  I think he’s sniffed a little too much catnip for that!

Anywho, I guess his foot still hurts because he hasn’t been very active lately.  Whenever I try to play he doesn’t want to be bothered.  I’m starting to get a bit lonely over here!  Maybe Mommy should let me use her gamestop coupons to order one of those pet games for the Wii. Maybe if I had my own virtual pet I’d have somebody to play with when Alley doesn’t want to play.

I’ve got little sister to play with, too, but she’s going through a mean phase.  I’d rather play with a fake pet than with a mean 2 year old!

We’ve got a kitteh emergency going on in the house, and I hope Alley is going to be okay.  Mommy and I walked into the bathroom and saw bloody kitteh paw prints everywhere.  Mommy immediately freaked out and went in search of Alley to see what’s wrong.  She searched him all over, and finally she found his back paw bleeding.  Mommy tried to inspect it, but Alley is being stubborn and won’t let her get much of a look.  He let her keep pressure on it for a few minutes, but it didn’t stop.  She loaded him up and sent Daddy off to the emergency vet with him.

Mommy says she doesn’t know if he snagged a nail or hurt it somehow.  Last night she dropped a glass in the kitchen and broke it, but she was careful to vacuum up all the glass before any of us furkids or Ellie wandered into the kitchen and got glass on them.  Now she thinks maybe she missed a sliver and Alley stepped on it.  We’re waiting by the phone for Daddy’s call to tell us what’s going on!  I hope he’s going to be okay!

I has a sad.  Yep, I really do.  I feel so lonely tonight because I’ve hardly got to play with my people at all today.  I’ve been overdue for my dose of Promeris (it works for me, so don’t hate) because Mommy normally puts it on me outside.  With all the rain and nasty days lately Mommy hasn’t had a chance to put it on me, and my skin has been getting really itchy from the demodectic mange popping back up.  The Promeris is the only thing that has ever really worked to control it, so if I miss a dose the postules come back and make me feel bad.

Mommy was going to put it on me last week, but she got sick.  Today was the first day she was feeling good enough to take me outside for a bath, so I got my bath, got dry, and got my Promeris.  Usually I stay outside after I get my dose (but where Mommy can keep an eye on me through the window) because the smell is really strong and Mommy doesn’t want me around little sister when I get my medicine.  Today a pop up shower came right after I got it, so Mommy had to quarantine me in utility room all by myself.  It really really sucked because it gets so lonely out there.  One of Daddy’s old gaming desktops is out there, but I couldn’t even get online because it won’t turn on. Mommy said the power supply went bad, and she’s got to replace it.

I ended up sleeping most of the day, and now that little sister is in bed I’ve got all this energy that I need to work off. Daddy took me outside and I ran in circles for a bit. Then I came inside and ran in circles around the table. Then I decided to get on the computer while Mommy wasn’t using it, and then I think I might go run in circles some more! I’m glad I got my medicine because it makes me feel better, but I slept so much today that now I’m bouncing off the wall! AHHH!

Oh my goodness I just about had a heart attack. I was minding my own business taking a nap in the couch when I heard a noise. I poked my head out from under my blanket (yes I have my own blanket), and what did I see? I saw a GIGANTIC kitty running towards me. It was so huge it was my size, and it was running on 2 legs! I about jumped out of my skin thinking some nuclear mutant kitty had come to eat me. We do live near Duke Power, ya know, so I bet there’s all kind of mutant things around there. Why couldn’t there be a mutant kitty?

The good news is there is no mutant kitty in our house.  It was just lil sister trying on her Halloween costume.  She wants to be a kitty like Alley for Halloween, and boy did she look like one!  I wonder if Mommy will be a kitty, too.  Maybe she’ll be a bulldog like me. She’ll probably order her a costume and maybe something for Daddy, too. Daddy doesn’t really like to dress up, though. I just hope she doesn’t make me wear a costume this year. Now that she’s got lil sister to dress up she let me off the hook last year.

Alley is in soooo much trouble tonight!  Mommy, Daddy, and Little Sister went out for awhile, and while they were gone Alley found Mommy’s bin of supplies in the bedroom she uses to make gift baskets for a new baby.

She makes cute little handmade items to go in the baskets as well as these diaper cake things. I think she’s making little hair bows now, too. Anyways Alley found the bin and managed to get the lid off it. Then he climbed up in it and found the ribbon. You know where this is going. It’s not good! He thought the ribbon looked fun to play with, and he pulled it all out, tangled it up, and shredded some of it. I hid under lil sister’s bed when I heard them come home because I knew it wasn’t going to be pretty. Mommy went CA-RA-ZIE when she came home and saw the mess. Alley is now banished to the utility room while Mommy cleans the mess up, and I doubt he’ll be getting any kitteh treats tomorrow!
