I would like to take a minute to give Bubba a major eye roll. He needs to stop worrying so much about buying some mega expensive TV. Heck I don’t even know if he can even see the darn thing to know the picture quality is way better than what we have right now. I think he needs to be worrying more about some vision insurance than a new TV! Just a few minutes ago I watched him walk straight into a closed door! Either he didn’t see it, he just wasn’t paying attention, or he’s dumber than I thought. I put my money on a combination of all three!
How many of you doggies out there like to watch TV? I love watching TV, and I’m very happy when Mommy leaves the TV on for me sometimes when she leaves for awhile. When she does that I climb up on the couch to watch Animal Planet, and I don’t move until she gets home.
It’s cooler watching TV these days because we have some channels including Animal Planet in HD. I think it’s the most awesome picture I’ve ever seen, but then I heard that my picture could be even better if we had a 3D TV. Seriously? Can you imagine how awesome that would be? Of course I had to get online to look it up, and I’ve now decided that Mommy and Daddy need to buy me one of those samsung 3d tvs. They bought lil sister a TV for the play room, so why can’t I have one, too?
Ok, so I admit they bought lil sister’s TV because the old TV in there died, and she needed something to watch Backyardigans on, and they got it at a huge sale price. (That show is pretty cool.) Yeah, I also admit that I watch that TV, too, but I still think I should have a TV that is ALL MINE. Why should I have to share? I’ve been in this family longer than lil sister has!

I made a new friend today! Her name is Pookie, and we met at the vet’s office. I think she found me too handsome to resist. She’s cool, but I could never go for a kitteh like her. I think she’s the biggest kitteh I’ve ever seen! She’s even bigger than Aunt Trenia’s kittehs, and Mom says they’re so big they need one of those Howard medical computer carts to be rolled through the house on.
Pookie was such a large girl her owner couldn’t carry her in the cat box. She had to get one of the men in the vet’s office to carry Pookie inside for her. Wow. She must eat a lot. Mom said she’s never seen a cat so big either, and she feels bad for poor Pookie. I bet she’s on lots of medicines because she’s unhealthy. I’m so glad Mom doesn’t let me get super fat like that. I like being healthy, and I hope to live a long and happy life as a healthy kitteh.

Sorry I haven’t been able to blog lately. Mommy has had some computer problems going on, and she won’t let me touch her Android smart phone. She said my doggy nails will scratch the screen up!
Boy did I have a lot of fun yesterday! Daddy’s whole family (Gramma Kayce, Pop Pop, Aunt Kris, Aunt Sam, and Uncle Joe) all came to our house for an Independence Day celebration. Even though I had to stay in the bedroom while everybody ate (I get excited and try to pee and jump on people when they sit down), they cooked lots of good food that smelled awesome. The smell came into the bedroom with me, and I enjoyed every minute of it.
When everyone ate dinner Mom snuck some yummy grilled chicken into the bedroom for me before they went outside to blow stuff up. Mommy and Daddy have done the fireworks thing every year, so I’m used to it. This year was way cooler, though! I sat in the window and watched all the pretty lights and listened to the loud booms. Lil sister loved it, and she ran around the yard laughing and oohing and aahing. Alley wasn’t too happy about it, though. He curled up in one of Mommy and Daddy’s riding helmets and hid the whole time, so he got stuck there for almost 2 hours while Daddy put on his fireworks show.
Everybody had a great time, though (except maybe Alley). After the fireworks lil sister went to sleep, and Mommy let me curl up on the couch with her while she worked on fixing the computer. She had to replace the motherboard in the desktop because it died last week. Then a few days ago the netbook charger started acting all weird like it was dieing, so she ordered a new one. Good thing she did because it stopped working at all yesterday! The new one should be here in a few days, but Mommy had to get the desktop put back together so we could all blog! I’m the first one to get to use it since she got it back together, and I must say she did a good job!
