What is wrong with Alley? Is he trying to kill me? Knowing him he probably is…plotting against me so he can rule this house all by himself!  I don’t need no stinkin’ electronic cigarette! I’m a smoke free doggeh thank you very much.

Don’t get me wrong, I think those things are great if you’re trying to quiet smoking. They’ve got to be healthier than regular cigarettes, and I bet they can help a lot of money save money, too. They’re probably cheaper than the real things, and if you don’t have all the nasty medical problems you don’t need to worry about paying extra for smoker life insurance! I know how expensive Mommy’s life insurance was when she smoked, and boy am I glad she quit that. It’s healthier for all of us, and now we have more money, too!

Oh my lord.  Bubba was not just whining about his stupid pictures again was he?  I’m getting so sick of hearing about those stupid pictures!  They’re just pictures!  Go run in the stupid sprinkler again, and Mom can take some more!

I swear sometimes he gets all himself worked up over nothing, and then he drives me crazy. I think maybe he needs to puff on one of those e cig to calm his butt down. Then again those things do have nicotine even if they don’t have all the nasty chemicals, so it would probably just hype him up and I’d still have to deal with him.

Ugh! Can I ever catch a break around here?

I just wanted to let you know that I hate technology.  Yep.  I said it.

Why?  Because it seems like whenever we get some new technology that is awesome something has to go wrong with it.  Mommy calls it a “bug”, but I didn’t know electronics could get bugs.  I wonder if they get fleas, too?  Can they be allergic to fleas?

Anywho right now I hate Mommy’s phone.  She’s got this cool looking phone called a Droid 2, and it’s got a pretty decent camera on it.  When she forgets her real camera she likes to take pictures with her Droid, and yesterday she took lots of pictures of me playing in the sprinkler with lil sister.  I was having so much fun, and I wanted to share those pictures with you, but I can’t.  Mommy’s stupid phone has a bug, and the bug made all the pictures go away!  She knows this happens, so she usually does a data backup as soon as we get inside so she doesn’t lose her pictures, but she didn’t have time to. Then her stupid phone froze up because of the bug, and when she turned it back on all the pictures were gone!  It’s just not fair!  I really looked cool running through the sprinkler, and I think everybody should get to see my awesome pictures!

It’s been nice and quiet around here the last few days, and I’ve liked it! Normally it’s noisy because lil sister is running wild driving me crazy, and Dad is playing his video games. Dad hasn’t been home much this week, so it’s just been me, Mom, lil sister, and Bubba. Thankfully Bubba has been snoozing away most of the time (and not snoring as loud as usual), so I’ve been able to enjoy the quiet time.

Tomorrow will probably be loud again, though. Dad is finished helping his friend build a porch, and he’ll be home a lot again. I can’t wait until he finds a job! At least Mom said he’ll be spending a lot of time outside working on the horse barn this week, so maybe I’ll still have some quiet time. Mom says they should get one of those metal horse barns like she saw on the crown steel buildings page because it’s less maintenance. I say the horses don’t need no steel building. Besides less maintenance means Dad would be inside a lot more making shooting noises on his video games again. I’d rather not have that!

By the way…did I even remember to tell you we got horses? Well they’re not exactly our horses.  Their Aunt Brittany’s horses, but they’re living at our house now because she doesn’t have a pasture for them.  It’s kind of cool because the scary bob tail cat that attacked me hasn’t been around the yard since the horses moved in.  I think he’s scared of them!

I’ve had a great day so far today!  This morning we got a surprise visit from Papa Clyde and his Mini Schnauzer, Stashes (short for Mr. Mustache).  Mommy knew he was coming, but it was a big surprise for lil sister and me!  Lil sister loved all over him and played with him, and that gave me time to escape for a nap. It was funny because Stashes was scared of Alley! I mean, he’s scared of a cat? That’s just funny!

Sometimes I think Papa Clyde needs to make Stashes famous so he can make us all lots of money.  I don’t know what it is about that doggeh, but I think he looks like he should be in a commercial for one of the top cigar brands or something. Maybe it’s because he’s got that mustache!
