Dad needs to learn to watch where he’s going? A few minutes ago I was on the verge of becoming a very flattened kitteh! Dad was storming around the house ranting and raving about how he couldn’t get any signal on his cell phone when he barged into the living room. He wasn’t looking where he was going, and he almost stepped on me. Thank goodness I was paying attention, and I ran away right as his foot landed where I had been sitting.
Dad, ask Mom to buy you a wireless cellular booster. Not only will it keep you from huffing and puffing over crappy cell signal in the house, but it will just possibly save my life!
Yep, I mean it. Alley is a total idiot! There I said it! He’s driving me nuts today, so I think I can call him whatever I want. See, it all started this morning when Mom was cleaning out the medicine cabinet and throwing away old empty pill bottles. I’ve had lots of pill bottles over the years because I’ve had to take lots of medicine for my skin, and sometimes for pain from surgeries I’ve had.
One time I had to take Oxycodone after I had surgery on my tail (excuse the way I talked back then. I was still a little thing learning this hooman language), so there was a bottle in there for that. It was empty, and Mommy sat it on the counter to put into the recycle pile. Alley batted it off the counter to play with it, and he tried to read the label. He thought it said oxytokin, though, so he’s been picking on me all day now saying I was trying to hide it because I wanted it to make my wrinkles go away. Come on now. I’m a bully! I love my wrinkles! Alley is just an idiot. Plain and simple! Besides I’m not the one who got in trouble for getting into Mommy’s makeup. I think Alley was trying to make himself look pretty.

Let me tell you a story about a kitteh who once went on a great adventure. He didn’t have to go far to have his adventure. He only had to wander into the closet while his hooman Mom was pulling out her old prom dresses to donate to a charity.
When this kitteh ventured into the closet he didn’t know what he would find, but he was soon met with a world full of exciting boxes to hide in, things to climb on, and he even found a bug to chase. He was having himself a great time when suddenly the lights went out. He waited a minute for his eyes to adjust to the light, and that’s when he realized he was trapped! Mom had shut the door not knowing he was inside, and he needed to make an escape! How would be get out, though?
He jumped onto a couple of boxes and tried to reach the doorknob. He had honed his skills as the great escape artist by learning how to turn doorknobs. Hopefully Mom hadn’t installed a lock on this one like all the ones that led to the great outside adventures. After a few tries he was successful. The door popped open, and Mom stood there looking at him with a look of surprise. She didn’t know he was in the closet, and he had successfully scared her.
Happy with the day’s adventure he decided it was time for a nap after a quick stop by the computer to share his adventure to his friends. Now the window with the warm sunshine awaits!
G’day all!

Yay! Today was the first day of Spring, and do you know what that means? I get to spend lots and lots of time outside bathing in the sun. I love to lay in the yard on pretty days that aren’t too hot, and in the Springtime the weather is just right…most of the time.
Today might have been the first day of Spring, but it didn’t feel like it. The sun was stuck behind the clouds, so it stay pretty chilly. Mommy says it’s supposed to be warm again tomorrow, though, a whole 77 degrees!
I have a feeling Alley will spend most of his time on the bath vanity where he can sleep in the sun that shines through the bathroom window (it’s his favorite spot these days) while I’ll be outside with Mommy and lil sister playing and loving the sun! Boy I can’t wait! It’s going to be a great day!

I’ve been hiding all week, and for good reason. Mom had a Nutella Party for her other Mommy friends this weekend, so the last week has been pretty chaotic around here. Whenever Mom has a party like this she goes on a cleaning frenzy. The super loud suction of death (Bubba calls it the vacuum) comes out, and Mom swings it around while she’s got her MP3 player going. I have a feeling she doesn’t may much attention to me when she’s in that mode, so I think it’s better to hide. I bet if she sucked my tail up she wouldn’t even notice!
When all the cleaning was done I thought it was safe to come out, but then our house filled up with all those Mommy’s and their kids on Saturday. I ran for my life as soon as I saw two kids lil sister’s age coming through the door. She’s bad enough! I couldn’t imagine two more chasing me around! One of the older kids broke a piece of Mom’s contemporary furniture, so I’m glad I hid. I bet that would have been me if he’d got a hold of me!
I think all is safe now. I haven’t seen any extra people running around our house the last couple of days, so I came out of hiding. It feels good to be out in the open again!
