The bad news is Daddy is still laid off from work.  The good news is we aren’t starving…yet.  The other good news is Daddy is home with us all day, and we get to snuggle and play.  Just because I’m a big ‘ole bulldog doesn’t mean I don’t like to snuggle!

I spent most of the day hanging out with Daddy.  We watched tv together and played outside together.  It was nice and cool out, so we got to stay outside a long time.  Then the rain came, and we went back inside.

Now I have to pee so bad, but I’d rather spend all day listening to someone go on and on about motorhome insurance than pee outside in the rain. I hate rain! I guess I’ll just have to hold it until the rain stops, so please pray it stops soon!

Hello!  I am the Great Alley Baba, and I will answer all your questions.  (Shhh…it’s really me, Alley, but I found a hat in little sister’s room that looks like a wizard hat.  I’m just pretending to be the Great Alley Baba for entertainment purposes, so don’t believe that what I say right now is true!)

Ahem, where was I?  As yes!  Ask the Great Alley Baba anything, and I shall answer!  It doesn’t matter what you want to know or if I know the answer or not.  I’ll give you an answer anyway.  You could even ask me something like “does phentermine work?”, and I’ll still give you an answer even though kittehs can’t take stuff like that!

Our first question comes from Bubba.  He would like to ask if I think Dad will ever let him on the couch tonight.

Well, Bubba, I don’t think so.  You snuck outside when Dad left the storm door unlatched, and he’s not very happy about that.  Then when he called your name you looked at him, ignored him, and took off the other direction!  I would say I’m 99% sure he will definitely NOT let you sit with him on the couch tonight!

It’s official.  We’re going to starve to death.

Ok not really, but things aren’t looking so good around here.  Daddy lost his job today.  Well, he didn’t actually lose it.  Mommy says he got laid off again, so that means he doesn’t have any work to do.  She says he knows for sure he’ll have work on January 3, but that’s a long time away.

Mommy said something about Daddy finding a new job as soon as he can.  I really hope so because Mommy has used all the coupons she had saved up except for her sears coupons. She was going to use those to buy Daddy some tools for Christmas, but now she can’t afford them even with the coupons. I don’t even know if she can afford food for us!

Alley said I’m worrying too much because he saw Mom looking at job listings on her netbook today. Maybe Mommy will go back to work and Daddy can stay at home with us for awhile. That might be fun!

I wanted to send a reminder out to all my kitty and puppy friends.  I’ve tried to remind you of this before, but not everyone listens.  Mom’s friend lost her puppy today.  The poor thing passed away after getting into some medicine and eating it.  She came home to find the poor puppy dead.  It was only a few months old, so it probably thought the bottle was a chew toy full of yummy treats.

Please please please whether you’ve got a bottle of all natural diet pills or a bottle of prescription pills remember it’s just as important to keep them out of reach of your pets as it is to keep them out of reach of your kids. That poor puppy didn’t know what it was getting into, and it would probably be ok if the owner had just remembered to store her pill bottle away from her pets.

I’m so glad Mommy got the desktop computer working again. She’s been using her computer so much she doesn’t give me much time to look at pictures of other bullies like I like to do. Mommy is awesome for getting the other computer working again, so I can use it.

I take that back. Mommy is super woman!  She must take vitamin supplements for women or something to help her because she’s always running around doing something. She takes care of me and Alley and Daddy, and now she has to do so much stuff for little sister. Plus she has all this work to do all the time, and tonight she was running around in circles cleaning the house while helping cousin Malese work on a paper for college.

I just don’t know how she does it all, but I love her, and I’m happy she does it.  If she didn’t take care of all of us I don’t know what we’d do.  Daddy would probably have to do it.
