I don’t know what Bubba is talking about. Yeah it was nice not having the hoomans here all day. I didn’t have to deal with Mom hogging the computer to read those diet pill reviews she’s always looking at, but it definitely wasn’t relaxing.
Every single time I tried to chill out Bubba would start snoring really loud and disturb me. I’d be ok with his snoring if he didn’t follow me like a shadow. See, he doesn’t want me to tell you, but he’s scared of the big booms that happen a lot when the weather is hot outside. When he hears one of those big booms when Mom and Dad aren’t home he runs to my side, and he won’t go away until the booms go away. He’s a big ole scaredy! We had a lot of booms this afternoon, so he stuck to me like that sticky stuff on mouse traps. It was quite annoying.
Thank goodness Mom and Dad are home now so he can follow them around instead. Too bad now I have to listen to little sister, though, because she won’t go to sleep, and she’s squealing really loud. I swear everyone in this house is out to punish me.
