paints-and-stuffs

We has such a bigs day today!  We got lots and lots of stuffs to do to gets ready for da lil sisters to show ups.  Mommy says da times is ticking away, and Daddy has to gets in gears to gets stuff dones.  Does Daddy has gears like cars do?  I didn’t know hoomans has gears, but I guess he might.

Today Daddy is goings to paints da bathroom.  You has to go through da nursery to gets to its, so Mommy wants him to paints it to matches da green in lil sister’s room.  Plus its got dis paper stuffs on da walls, and da paper stuffs is peeling offs in big long sheets.  Mommy says da glue is olds and it don’t holds no mores, but she hates da papers so she wants it gone anyways.  I has fun helping her removes it because da sheets falls on me and I barks at dem!

Den Daddy is gonna takes da paneling off da walls in da nursery to see if he can works wif da wall dats behinds it.  He has to be carefuls because da wall is really old from like 100 years agos (ok may not that old) and it could has nasty asbestos in it.  I don’t wants to has to find Daddy a Mesothelioma doctors because dat stuff made him sicks. I wants him to stays healthy, so Mommy tolds him to be carefuls and wear masks if he has to take any of da plaster walls down to replace it.

While Daddy does dat Mommy is taking me for a car rides.  I looooooooove car rides, and me, Mommy, and Alley don’t needs to be in da houses while Daddy is painting and doing stuffs like dat.  We might even go to Gramma Kayce’s so we can watches da Tigers game wif Grampa Cha.  Mommy can listen to it on da radios, but I know she’d likes to watches it, too.

It’s A Mess

October 1, 2009

its-a-mess

Some days I wonder why in the world Mom and Dad would want to bring a slobbering baby into this house.  Mom is driving me crazy this morning with lots and lots of baby stuff.  She says we’ve only got 7 weeks to get everything ready, so we better get on the ball.  She’s washing all these little clothes that are so small I don’t think I could even fit into them, and she’s got stacks of random baby stuff all over the place.

She’s got some medical equipment looking something sitting in my favorite chair…it says “breast pump” on the box whatever that is, and I can’t get to my favorite window because of all the bags of things called “diapers” that are stacked everywhere!

Mom, please take all this stuff away, and think about not bringing home a baby after all.  Remember how loud and slobbery they can be?  Remember how annoying Bubba was when you brought him home?  He was a baby then, too, and he drove us all up the wall!

I at least hope if you do decide to bring this slobbering annoying creature into our household you will at least reward me for putting up with this thing. I deserve at least a few cans of tuna, and maybe even a new catnip toy.
