Bulking Up For The Winter

bulking-up-for-the-winter

Tonight I learned maybe Dad isn’t so bad after all.  Sometimes he’s in a good mood and he does things that aren’t mean to me.  Those days are few and far between, but we actually got along today.  He even let me sleep on the arm of the couch next to him while he played his video games, and he never does that!

When Mom went to the grocery store Dad reminded her to get me a new litter box since my other one broke and has a sharp edge on it, and then he even changed the box without me having to beg!

Then I learned a really important lesson from him, and I’m going to use it next time Bubba tells me I need weight loss supplements!  Mom has Dad on a diet again because she says he’s gained too much weight.  Well I heard him tell her to leave him alone about it because he’s just “putting on his winter blubber to stay warm”!  Isn’t that the best excuse ever?  So take that, Bubba!  I didn’t get fat.  I just spent the few months bulking up for the winter!

A Bulldog’s Thoughts On Divine Canine Gourmet Biscuitry

October 14, 2009

a-bulldogs-thoughts-on-divine-canine-gourmet-biscuitry

Last week Mommy bought some samples of some stuffs, and when she got her box of samples there was a treats in it for me from Divine Canine Gourmet Biscuitry!  I was super excited becuz I don’t get lots of treats.

At first I didn’t knows if Mommy lets me has dis one or nots because I has allergies to certain fings, but after she checks da ingredients she said it ok and lets me eats it last nights only if I promised to reviews it on my blogs.  Oh boy!  Of course I reviews it!

Mommy pulled it outs of bags and helps me take picshures of da treat so you can see what it looks likes, but I had a hard time trying nots to eated its right dens because it smelled soooooo goods.

Daddy says I was bouncing up and downs more than balls on a ping pong tables.

My treats was a Pooch Style Pumpkin Pie treat, and Mommy didn’t knows if I would likes it or nots because I reaaaally picky about my treats.  I don’t likes many different treats, and I don’t likes a lot of crunchy treats like doggy biscuits.

Dis one was crunchy, but it smelled so goods I couldn’t resist!  I chomped it rights down before Mommy could gets a picshures!  It was so goods I wants anuder one, but Mommy says I has to waits because she has to orders more.  She’s going to use the $2 off coupon dat came wif my treats, so maybe she gets me anuder ones like dis one or even anuder flavors to try.

I give dis treat 4 out of 4 paws because it smells good, tastes good, and I even likes it crunchy. I gives da lady dat makes dese homemade doggy treats an extra paws because she knows all doggies can’t have da same treats, so she makes treats specifics to your doggy’s allergy needs, too!

And ya know what?  Dis reviewing stuffs isn’t so bad after alls.  Wif lots of good treats to try, now I see why Mommy does it!

So, what’s your favorite treats?  If you has one you wants to share wif me tells me about it, and I might just gives it a try.  We all know bulldogs like me have plenty of rooms in our tummies and a big appetites!

Stupid Window Covers

October 12, 2009

stupid-window-covers

I just wanted to say I am NOT a happy kitteh right now, and I totally blame Dad.  Do you know what he did this weekend?  He had the nerve to make it so I can’t look out the windows anymore unless I meow and meow until Mom lets me!  It’s no fair!

He took down all those stupid plastic things that block my view, so I got all happy thinking he finally realized how nice it is to look outside all day.  I took a nap and when I woke up what did I find?  Not only did he cover the windows back up again, but he used even thicker and bigger stupid plastic window covers that I can’t climb through.  Then I heard him laughing and telling Mom how happy he was that “Alley can’t break these blinds”.

I’m yet again contemplating clawing his eyes out after he goes to sleep.

Itteh Bitteh Kitteh

Ha!  Take that Mom and Dad!  You’re not the only one getting a baby around here!  Gamma Kayce just got a baby, too, but she got a better baby than you’ll get.  She got a kitteh baby!

Itteh Bitteh Kitteh aka Roadie is way too cute!  He really is itty bitty, too!  Gamma Kayce found him wandering around on the highway in front of where she works, so she couldn’t just leave him there.  She rescued him from all those scary cars zooming by, and now he’s going to be living the good life with Tom, Goldie, Fuzzle, and Riley.  He doesn’t know how good he’s got it over there.

Isn’t he too cute?

Gamma Kayce did list the Itteh Bitteh on a free directory for lost pets and put up a sign at work, but she doubts anybody will try to claim the little guy. He probably came from a feral mama cat running around somewhere because unfortunately a lot of that happens around here. He’s so little he’s still on cat sip…and I wish he would share because I love that stuff!

So take that Mom and Dad!  You may be getting a new baby, but Gamma Kayce got us a new friend!

Sharing Is Caring

October 3, 2009

sharing-is-caring

Some days Bubba can be a royal pain in my you know what, but some days he’s actually a decent brudder to have around.  Today was one of those days when he was pretty nice to me, and I actually had fun hanging out with him.

Mom sad we were going on an adventure while Dad painted, but that never happened because Dad never got around to painting.  There was a lot of other stuff that happened today instead.  Mom and Dad watched some stupid ball game on tv that involved a ton of yelling .  I don’t get why you would want to yell at the tv because I don’t think it can hear you, but if they want to look like idiots let them.

While they were doing that Bubba did something he’s never done before.  He actually shared one of his toys with me!  If he got a Sharepoint every time he shared anything with me we’d now be at +1.  He’s better at sharing stuff like the couch or the chair or the window.  Normally he doesn’t want to share his toys at all, but he let me roll around on the couch with his stuffed monkey for awhile. It didn’t smell like my catnip bunny, but I still had lots of fun, and it was cool that Bubba was being nice for once.
