My poor brudder doesn’t feel good today. I’ve been keeping him company on the blanket. Bubba has another yeast infection. This is the first major one he’s had since he started using Promeris, but Mom says this one is giving her more ideas about his skin infections.

A few days ago we were playing around as we always do, and I accidentally scratched his shoulder blade. I don’t try to scratch him when we swat play, but my claw got snagged on the blanket, and I freaked out for a minute. Bubba just happened to be there, and his shoulder became the victim of my next swat. Mom has just trimmed my nails, and one of them must have had a little jagged piece hanging off the end or something.

Mom put this cream stuff on Bubba’s shoulder, and he was fine. Last night he started oozing this yucky stuff though. Dad called Mom in to look at it, and she sighed and said “looks like we’ll see the vet this week.” Mom cleaned it up and put more of the cream stuff on it, then she gave Bubba some yogurt and a Benedryl.

This morning when we woke up his shoulder looked awful! He has a bald spot the size of a quarter, and it’s filled with all this yellow pus stuff. Mom cleaned it up again and called the vet guy to make an appointment. She gave Bubba more Benedryl, cleaned the spot up, and put some Zymox on it. She says that’s all she can do until Saturday when the vet can see Bubba to give him anti-fungal medacaysuns.

Now Mom thinks there is something that blooms or is in the air when it gets warm Springtime weather again that might lower Bubba’s immune system. Last year he got a really bad yeast infection on his head at this exact same time of the year. He had been stuck inside all winter with me, but when it warmed up he started spending more time outside with Mom. The first day Mom took him outside for almost all day he got an infection like this. Mom says it’s just one more thing to look into so we can hopefully make Bubba a happy and always healthy doggy one day.

I hope my brudder will be ok. I know he will because our vet guy is good, and Mommy takes really good care of our boo boos. I just don’t like seeing my brudder when he’s sick. He lays on his blankets and doesn’t want to play with me at all, so I think I should lay down with him again. Maybe it’ll make him feel better.

I know he’s mad because Mom won’t let him lay on the couch, and it probably doesn’t help him to feel good. He has to lay in the floor on a blanket, so if the oozy stuff gets on it Mom can give him a clea blanket. Maybe Mom should go to one of those discount furniture stores and get Bubba another chair since she threw his broken one away. That might make him feel better!

I think I’ve figured out something that I should have known a long time ago. Mom reads Lolcats waaaaay too much. She sees other kittahs doing bad things, and then I don’t get to do fun things because she thinks I’ll do the bad things, too.

Sure, he caused a biiiiig pileup, and I bet he don’t have cheap auto insurance anymore, but that don’t mean I’d be a bad driver, too! I want my own car. Then when Mom tries to take me to the vet I can drive away so Mom can find me! I know she has a me size car. It’s in the room we’re not allowed to play in, and it’s in a box with a bunch of girl dolls. It’s kind of old, and it’s pink, but it’s a convertible. I’m sure Dad could paint it for me. I think I need a red convertible like that kitteh’s because chicks dig that!

Mommy and Daddy is changing some fings in da house, and it’s cool. I gots all dis new stuff to looks at. Mommy boughts a new rugs that’s soft and cuddly, and it has a bulldoggy like me on it!

Mommy puts new door hardware on the cabdinets in da bathrooms, and I don’t think Alley likes it at alls. He could pulls opens the old ones, but he couldn’t gets da new ones opens.

I wonders what else theys gonna changes. Maybes they get us new couches that are softs and cuddly. I likes our couches, but they is old and sometimes lumpy. Plus they was used when Mommy gots dem, and the old owners let dere kittahs scratches one corners up. Mommy doesn’t let Alley scratches da couches. He’s got his own kittah scratching trees, so if we gets new couches they won’t be scratched up!

Daddy didn’t stay homes from work todays.  I wanted to plays with him all days longs!  He called Mommy and she says he mights be home from works early because the roads are icy, so maybe we can plays then.  I guesses I should be happys he’s at works making moneez so he can buy me toys!  Plus Valentine’s day is coming ups so he has to buy Mommy somfin nice.

If I had a girlfriends I’d buy her some sexy lingerie and some new toys. Who wants to be my girlfriends?

Boy is it’s colds tonight!  Mommy says we mights gets some snow, but she’s not counting her chickens…whatever that means.  Mommy doesn’t have chickens, so how can she counts dem?  She’s weird sometimes!

Me and Alley’s are sharing a blankets on the couch as usuals.  It’s our favorite spots to sleep, and since Daddy was justs sleepin’ dere it’s warm!  We jumped on the couches before Mommy could to steals da heat.  Mommy tooks a picshures of us laters, so I thought you might likes to sees it!

I needs to gets some more sleeps now. Daddy’s gonna be homes tomorrow because he can’t get up da mountains to works cuz of da snows and ices up dere, so we’ll do lots and lots of playing. I’m gonna needs all da energy I can gets!
