My Mom Isn’t Cool Enough

That’s it. I want a new family!
Mom left up an article on her computer that makes me mad. I’m not mad at the article, but I’m mad that my Mom isn’t as cool as Christine. See Christine was featured in a scrapbooking magazine a couple of years ago, and do you know what she did? She made a scrap of her cat. I asked Mom about it, and she said Christine makes scraps of all her kittehs, and Mom wishes she was even 1/16th as talented as Christine. The scrap in the magazine is of Squeaker, and sadly he’s passed on, but Christine can now remember him with all the scraps she has and even the custom rubber stamp she had made of him.
Why can’t my mom be that cool? Do you hear me, Mom? I want to go live with Christine and the Purrfect cats! They’re way cooler than my family. I bet they don’t drool all over the place like Bubba or snore like Bubba and Dad!
Now your Mom looks pretty talented to me. Besides, she loves you, no mater what you do. Have you ever heard the old saying that the kibble doesn’t always taste better on the other side of the fence?
