Remember when I told you I thought Bubba needed to lose a little of his pudge? Well I wanted you to know I still believe that. Mom put us on her scale things today to see how much we weigh. I’ve gained 3lbs, but that’s ok. I’m supposed to gain some weight. When I had my last urinary infection I lost a lot of weight, and the vet guy said it’d be good if I gained a few pounds.

But do you know what Bubba did? He gained 2 more pounds! He’s not supposed to gain anymore. He’s big and pudgy and knocks me over already! I had enough of big dogs when Brutus lived with us. He was mean, and he was 130lbs! He could squish me with one paw! I don’t want Bubba getting that big. He’s my brudder, and I love him, but he needs to lose some weight. He’s on a special diet now because the vet says he’s not fat but he doesn’t need to gain anymore. Now I think maybe Mom needs to buy him some of that Ephedrasil hardcore hooman stuff. Maybe then he’ll stop gaining weight, and he won’t get big enough to squish me with one paw.

I is havin so much funs today!  Mommy’s not sick anymores so I helps her put up the Christmas tree!  We decorates it wif lots of shiny stuffs.  I trieds to eat some shiny balls, but she tolds me they gotta hangs on the tree.  That’s no fun.

But den we went outsides to put bows, green stuff, and shiny lights on the porch.  Mommy let me pretends I was a reindeer.  If Santa’s taking applications for new reindeer Mommy says I should apply.  I even comes wif my own harness.

If you ask Mom what we did all day, she’d say we slept. That’s the honest truth. It was raining outside, and we were all really sleepy and lazy. Hey, I’m a cat. It’s what I’m supposed to do!

After Mom went to sleep I did get up for a bit of playing. Mom has a huge basket of pecans on the dining room table, and they just looked like too much fun! Dad came home to find pecans all over the floor because I had an awesome time batting them out of the basket. Who needs to buy cat toys at one of those pet supply franchises when I’m perfectly happy with bottle caps and pecans?

*Yawn*

I feel like being a lazy cat again, so I think I’m going to go fill my belly and crawl into bed with Dad. He’s really warm, and if I burrow into the covers it’s like an oven in there!
