Mommy said it’s only 8 more days to the beach! I’m so excited! Wow, I’m reeeaaaaallly excited about the beach because I forget it’s only 4 more days ’til my birfday! I’m going to be 2! Mommy says I’m not a puppy anymore, but she can still call me Puppy if she wants to.

My birfday means I’ll be getting lots of presents. I wonder what I’ll get? Maybe I’ll get some toys I can take to the beach. Maybe Mommy talked Daddy into buying a Bugaboo stroller. Mommy said baby hoomans ride in strollers because they can’t walk. I don’t like to walk, so maybe I can ride in a stroller, too. Those Bugaboo ones look really nice. Some models hold up to 40lbs. Oh no, I’m 70 lbs, so I’d have to lose a little of my baby fat. Alley could ride in it though. Plus the Cameleon has these big wheels that adjust for sand and snow. Mommy says the beach has sand, so she could push Alley down the beach.

What’s the beach? I heard Mommy and Daddy saying we’re going to the beach! I don’t know what it is, but I know we’re going somewhere! That makes me excited! Mommy said I’ve never been to the beach, so I guess that’s why I don’t know what it is.   She also said Alley isn’t going, but she decided to take me with her!

How cool is that? You think that means I’m their favorite?  I was supposed to go to Camp Dogwood, but Mommy changed her mind.  She said they have a big house down there, and dogs like me are allowed. Can you believe some places don’t allow dogs?  What’s wrong with a guy like me?

Anyway, I don’t know what the beach is, so I don’t know what I should pack. Anybody got any ideas?
