I’ve been sad because Alley has a new friend to play with. Alley gets to go to Aunt Sam’s house to play with the new kitteh baby, but I have to stay here all alone with no friends…or so I thought!
Most 16 year olds ask for a car, but my friend Mo’ asked for something even better! She wanted to adopt a puppy! Her hooman mom took her to the animal shelter last week, and she picked out a pretty puppy named Roxi. Roxi is a really little girl. She’s only 6 weeks old, but Mommy says she’ll be big enough to play with one day. Mo’ brought her over for a visit tonight.

She’s still so wittle Mommy’s afraid I might squish her, so I didn’t get to play with her tonight. We did sniff each other a few times, and she smelled just like a baby! When I went into the other room she tried to paw through the door to get to me, so I know she must like me! Then Mommy, Daddy, and Mo’ took Roxi outside so she could play. Mommy played with her camera, too, so we got a few cute pictures. Mommy said Roxi moves around so much it was hard to get pictures of her, but she’s going to keep trying to get some better ones for us.

Roxi likes to eat hands. She tried to eat Daddy’s toes, too, but I think she learned they’re stinky! I bet she won’t try that again! She decided to attack leaves instead..

Roxi’s so cute, and I can’t wait until she’s big enough to play with me! We’re going to have so much fun! I’ll have to teach her how to chase my bouncy ball all over the yard!

It’s time to give a big furbaby welcome to my new friend Riley! Riley won’t be living with us, but she lives with my Aunt Sam now. She found her wandering around an old abandoned parking lot, so she rescued her and her brudder. Her brudder was really sick, so he went on to Rainbow Bridge a little while later, but Riley is healthy and now has a new home!

She’s just a little baby right now, but Aunt Sam said I can play with her when she gets a little bigger. She’s already learning to beat up on Tom, Goldie, and Fuzzle…Aunt Sam’s other kittehs!

Riley comes to visit a lot, and she really likes my basket of toys. I can’t wait ’til she’s big enough to help me chase Bubba all over the place! Tonight she’s helping Aunt Sam cook dinner, so we’ll have to see what kind of tasty treats she makes for me! Having a kitteh in the kitchen could be a good thing. I bet it means I’ll get more food!

Welcome home Riley! You’ve found a great big family who loves you!

Hi! I wanted to tell you about a new feature Mom helped us add to our blog. If you look over to your right you will now see a “Featured Adoptable Pet”. We want to help as many furbabies in need as we can, so if you’re looking for a new pet please try to adopt one of our friends you find in that box.
I know a lot of people don’t like the fact that Bubba is a purebred, but Mom and Dad have rescued many furbabies. They believe they have the option to make the choice to choose to buy or adopt a dog, but they will also have at least one rescued furbaby in their home at all times. Mom is currently in the process of trying to adopt another American Bulldog from a local shelter. My brother, Brutus, was a rescued American Bulldog, but he went onto Rainbow Bridge in 2006. Mom and Dad took him in and gave him a furever home he could be comfortable in during his last 2 years of life.
A lot of people don’t know I’m not exactly a rescue, but without Mom there’s no telling where I would be. My fur mom was found living in a dumpster. No one wanted to adopt my fur mom because she was pregnant with me and my brothers and sisters. My human mom’s sister rescued my fur mom, but no one knew what would happen to the kittens. My human mom worked hard to find families for all my brothers and sisters, and she gave me a furever home so I didn’t have to go back to the shelter. I’m so glad she did! Now I have a wonderful family and furever home, and Bubba and I want to help other furbabies find wonderful furever homes as well!

Remember when Alley got mad at me for leaving my toy in his bed? Well I think he finally decided to pay me back!
There’s a big yucky hairball on my bed! Mommy went to bed right after she gave me my meda-caysuns, so I think I’ll have to wake her up so she can clean up the nasty gack. I’m still not sleeping there tonight. I think I’ll wake Mommy up, then I’ll take her side of the bed. Daddy keeps the bed nice and warm anyway. It’s much better than sleeping on my bed! Mommy can have the couch tonight.
