The humans in this house are driving me crazy!  Mom yells at me for scratching her new couch.  It’s not new!  It’s old and used, but it’s soft, and I loooove how it feels under my claws.  Fine, she doesn’t like it, so I retreat to the TV.

Dad comes home from work.  He sits on the couch and yells at me because he can’t see the TV.  I can’t help it if my tail dangles.  It’s warm up there, and I can see out the window.  We wouldn’t have this problem if Dad hadn’t moved MY couch away from the window in the first place!

I just can’t believe this!  I really want to cry right now!  My mommy wrote a post today that every pet owner/ pet lover in the world should read.  There is this really mean man out there.  Mommy says he’s a Mayor whatever that is, and he just turned a bunch of dogs out on their own in the forest!  Those could be my brothers and sisters and cousins!  They’re just left out there to die!  How could this man be so mean and want to hurt innocent dogs like me?

Dad’s sister brought her dog over today to play with Bubba. I had to deal with TWO slobbery nasty creatures all day! Thankfully they didn’t bother me if I hid in the bedroom, so I camped out all day.

Buddy, the other dog, has some serious issues man. I give him props for cleanliness but dude, you’re still

disgusting. He likes to wash his paws all the time, so what did I see? On my way to the kitchen to get a drink out of my water bowl, I caught that nasty dog washing his paws in my bowl! Who washes their paws in a water bowl? It’s just weird man!

I refuse to drink out of that bowl until it’s been fully sanitized. On second thought, mom better buy me a new one just to be safe!

I have to get this out of the way already.  Mom says I must be nice to that dog, so Thank You, Bubba, for the birthday wish.

There.  I did it.  Happy?

Bubba left me another present today.  Would you like to know what?  He left his nasty slobbery monkey toy in my bed!  Me sleep there after that nasty thing has been there?  It’s been in Bubba’s mouth, and I don’t know where that mouth has been!  I don’t even want to think about it.

Mom better wash my bed now or she’s going to have to give up her pillow tonight!

Today’s a very special day around our house! I’ve got on my Birthday hat, and I’m here to say Happy Birthday brudder! Alley is 5 today! I asked Mommy to make a special gift for you, Alley!

PS- We don’t know Alley’s real birthday. We just celebrate it today. Mommy and Daddy know he was about 4 months old when they adopted him, and that would make him 5 right about now! June 16th is Alley’s unofficial birthday because every kitty and puppy deserve to celebrate!
